Tree Top Path - Bad Harzburg
Bad Harzburg (Lower Saxony)
The Tree Top Path we constructed in Bad Harzburg is a large-scale project for which all aspects of planning from the Consent process through to Project Management was completed in-office.
A major highlight of the Tree Top Path is the 30m tall ‘crown’, which the visitors reach without barrier. A 200m platform built 26m from the ground provides an impressive and awe inspiring experience, and wonderful views. It can also be booked for events.
With a length of a total of 700m, the Tree Top Path winds through a mixed forest before reaching the canopy. It consists of 16 platforms connected by bridges enabling the visitors to walk comfortably up to 20m high and marvel at the nature.
Another local company from the Allgäu region was also responsible for the construction of the building. Biedenkapp Stahlbau Ltd from Wangen completed the delicate task of threading the bridges and towers between the trees, without any environmental impact.
The later addition of 33 ‘experience elements’ ensures the visit to the Tree Top Path in Bad Harzburg a lasting experience of nature.
