AIDAnova Indoor ropes course
For cruise guests of all ages on the “AIDAnova”, an exciting jungle climbing world awaits on the Activity Deck, directly beneath the glass dome. A total of 15 themed climbing challenges, such as ‘Big Foot’, ‘Crocodile’ and ‘Spinning Log’, allow climbers to immerse themselves in the world of Mowgli or Crocodile Dundee.
The introductory course is located in a circular hut designed in the African style. Here, climbers can familiarise themselves with the communication-based safety system before venturing onto the climbing course at a height of over six metres.
As with all projects we have already implemented on cruise ships, all rope course elements must withstand continuous use on the high seas. Thermally treated wood, V4A stainless steel and specially coated steel were used in the construction of the rope course.
