Nienhausen Local Park Learning and exercise

The Revierpark in Nienhausen is all about exercise and learning in the great outdoors. The facilities include a platform play area, connected to a stainless-steel box slide and a motor skills course, as well as a bee nature trail and a calisthenics area. In addition, an existing water play area has been enhanced with a four-metre-high, water-spraying rain cloud.
As with the Revierparks in Wischlingen and Mattlerbusch, the client, Regionalverband Ruhr, placed great emphasis on the inclusive design of the facilities for this project too. This requirement was taken into account by hochkant as far as possible during the planning and construction of the facilities. Particular attention was also paid to the durability of the installations, with the use of mainly hard-wearing black locust trunks and larch wood.
