On the move with a drop of water Achis Waterway
The ‘Achis Wasserweg’ nature trail runs along the Konstanzer Ach river and connects Immenstadt railway station with the nature park centre in Bühl am Alpsee. Along this route, nine interactive stations invite visitors to discover and understand the many facets of water in a fun and engaging way.
The entire concept, including the design, graphics and construction of the interactive stations, was developed and implemented by hochkant. The content was created in close collaboration with the Nagelfluh Nature Park, the Kempten Water Management Office and the Immenstadt Hanfwerke Fishing Association.
The stations along the themed trail offer interactive experiences, including rotating and folding panels, a memory quiz and a ball maze seesaw game, which raise awareness of the importance of water. Made from robust solid larch wood and stainless steel, combined with printed HPL panels, the stations are not only durable but also weather-resistant and have proven their worth over the years.
The joint project was commissioned by the town of Immenstadt and the Government of Swabia.
