Nature Trail Bolliversum Dornstadt

Based on a preliminary concept, hochkant has created a nature trail featuring eight interactive themed areas for the municipality of Dornstadt (Baden-Württemberg). The trail offers visitors the opportunity to explore the juniper heath in an engaging way. There is a telescope for viewing the landscape and even a giant butterfly with moving wings, which encourages participants to engage actively with the local butterfly fauna. Activity stations such as balancing and motor skills equipment provide fun and exercise, particularly for younger visitors. And for bird lovers, there is an exciting Bandolino game.

For this nature trail, hochkant provided a ‘one-stop shop’ service, from the initial concept and content development – including graphics – right through to the planning and construction of the themed stations. The on-site installation was carried out by the local council works department in close consultation with hochkant.
