Bad Harzburg Tree-top walk
The Bad Harzburg Tree Top Walk is a major project for which all aspects – from planning and planning permission to project management – were coordinated by our office.
The highlight of the treetop walk is the approximately 30-metre-high entrance canopy, through which visitors can access the walk with barrier-free access. A 200-square-metre platform in the tower provides impressive high-altitude experiences with stunning views. It is situated 26 metres above the ground and can also be booked for events.
The path itself winds its way for a total length of 700 metres through the treetops of a mixed forest. Consisting of 16 platforms connected by bridges, the path allows visitors to stroll comfortably at heights of up to 20 metres and marvel at nature.
An Allgäu-based company was also responsible for constructing the structure: Biedenkapp Stahlbau GmbH from Wangen skilfully ‘threaded’ the bridge structure between the trees.
The trail’s features ensure that a visit becomes a lasting experience of nature.
