Wait at the Ofterschwanger Horn: The Stuimändle Trail
A very special experience awaits families at the Ofterschwanger Horn: the Stuimändleweg. Accompanied by the little cairn ‘Steini’, visitors of all ages can discover the fascinating world of geology, the weather and alpine nature along a themed trail lovingly designed with upright stones.
Numerous interactive information and play stations turn the trail into a real adventure – including a suspension bridge, a tube slide, a large adventure playground and creative hands-on activities such as the Forest Art Station. Exciting features such as a Nagelfluh periscope or a wind machine convey knowledge in a playful and lasting way.
Continuously expanded by ‘von hochkant’ since 2018, the trail now offers additional highlights: a photo spot with panoramic views, an information pillar on Alpine farming, a bird song audio station, a nature quiz and the unique ‘Cloud Cinema’, where visitors can create their own weather forecast.
